Hi, GameWeaver was started on the 1st of January 2005,
with the aim of within 3 months making a web site where anybody could log on to
make a game for a gameboy entertainment system.
I could only work on GameWeaver in my spare time as I worked full time for a it
distribution company, It's sad to say that I didnt hit my 3 month deadline.
It was probably a good thing I didnt make the deadline as GameWeaver has be re-written
twice since then, each time becoming more flexible and easier to use. Of course, I was still
working full time, however I was made redundant, GameWeaver went on hold I had to find a job.
It turned out fine, I managed to get a job working with a large publishing company and managed to
be part of creating some important web sites, my favourite was fhm.com :-), all good things come to
an end. Since then I have been working with GameWeaver trying to get it nailed.
I would really like to get a job working as a tools programmer for a games company.
GameWeaver has finally been released, of course, development will never stop, more featuers will be added. After two years and a month
of development, I have made what I intended to make, it's an awesome feeling. I hope people will have as much fun making
games with it, as I had making it.
We pay for the running of this site out of my own money, We have Hosting and Bandwidth bills to pay, if you would like to make a
donation towards these costs, please click the link on the front page.
